|Type of Spell||Ultimate|
|Area of Effect||Epic|
|Spell Duration||(?) s|
|Casting Time||7 s|
|Cooldown Time||6 min|
When the wizard casts the spell, a rock begins drawing a spiral shape onto the ground. A few seconds later, the ground starts to fall away from the center of the spiral. All creatures that are unable to fly will fall down the abyss and 'gib', leaving blue souls behind. Wizards will be teleported back to their altars if they fall. Eventually, the ground begins to refill itself from the outside of the affected area. The ground does not fall away near structures, such as manaliths or houses.
Charlie Bloomer, the lead graphic FX artist for Sacrifice, had called Bore one of the best effects in the game.

Unfortunately, in multiplayer, Bore is very difficult to use in combat due to the highly mobile nature of the game and the fact that it is very easy to interrupt the spell or even just to order all creatures away from the target area. It could occasionally be used to deny access to areas, such as cutting off a single chokepoint if you want some extra time to convert souls or otherwise build up your strength.
- It can and should be used to force an opponent to escape an area.
- It can and should be used to gib or completely remove enemy dead creatures from the game.
In Polish version of the game, the Bore spell is mistakenly translated as Nudziarz, which roughly means 'a boring person'. The mistake most likely stems from the fact that, depending on the context, the word 'bore' may either mean 'one that is boring' or 'a drilling tool'.
